The young, playful energy of this page combined with the fiery profile of the Wands suit gives us an imaginative, creative being full of enthusiasm and always ready to embark on an adventure or try something new. Its creative nature can even mean the birth of a child, but more likely some kind of project, concept or idea is going to enter your life. This energy is more about play than serious work, so don't expect too much; nevertheless, it can change your attitude towards life through the sheer amount of energy it brings. This card has the power to bring freshness into your life, a rejuvenation of sorts, and some good news. When this card appears, trust your imagination, no matter how strange it seems, to find the solution to your problem. This card also has an ethical tone: the Page of Wands is very loyal and faithful.
On the card
A young man stands in an open, barren landscape, holding a tall wand upright with both hands and looking up at its top with interest, as if studying it or waiting to see what it will become. Small green leaves sprout from the wood.
He wears a yellow tunic decorated with black salamanders, a feathered cap with a red plume and a short cloak. The salamander, which in legend lives unharmed in fire, is the emblem of the Wands suit and appears on all its court cards.
Behind him the land is flat and dry, and in the distance rise three pyramid-shaped hills, set against a clear sky. It is an empty landscape, full of space and possibility but not yet built upon.
The page is not doing anything yet; he is curious and attentive, absorbed by his wand and the possibilities it holds. The image captures the moment before action, when an idea or a calling is discovered and youthful excitement is born. It speaks of messages, enthusiasm, exploration and the first spark of a creative venture, with all the freshness and the inexperience that come with it.
