The youth of the Page card combined with the maturity of the Pentacles suit offers an interesting combination: a young person of a responsible and industrious nature. If it manifests in your life as a person, he is wiser than his years would suggest. If as news, it will be about immediate material gain. Maybe you will receive some good news about your career or some other financial gain. As an earth card, he uses common sense rather than intuition; reason is more valuable to him than emotion or enthusiasm that may have no basis in reality.
On the card
A young man stands in a green meadow, holding a single pentacle up in front of him with both hands. He gazes at it intently, almost reverently, as if studying it or wondering what it could become. He wears a green tunic, a red hood and a long cloak.
The landscape around him is fertile and calm. Flowers grow in the grass at his feet, a few trees stand nearby, and in the distance there is a freshly ploughed field and a gentle mountain. The sky behind him is clear and bright.
His slow, careful attention sets this Page apart from the other Pages. He is not looking around for adventure or news; he is focused on the one thing in his hands, examining it closely.
The ploughed field reminds us that the earth must be prepared before anything can grow. The card speaks of study, practical learning, a new job or opportunity, and the first steps towards building something solid. It describes a young person, or a young project, with patience and good sense, who understands that real results grow slowly from careful work.
