An Italian typographer who in 1540 published in Venice Le sorti intitolate giardino d’i pensieri (The oracle called garden of thoughts), one of the earliest known documents about cartomancy. It consists of about one hundred images and 2250 tercets divided in 50 sections, each containing 45 tercets, written by a Venetian poet Lodovico Dolce. The book was organized in questions and answers about usual life situations; love, health, money, political success, war, etc..
